During my undergraduate studies, I started interpreting my personal experiences and surrounding environment in relation to social circumstances. My works during this period mainly reflected my personal experiences interlocked with contemporary issues. They induced current but philosophical thoughts by implying the essential contents inherent in humans and society. Many works of mine, including 'Venus', are about the criteria of the female body pervading in our society, covert and huge tail covering the entire body of a mouse('Rat's Tail'), hares trying to escape through a wire mesh ('DON'T LET THEM TELL YOU ANY OTHER DIFFERENT!'), and Taegeukgi, the national flag of Korea made up of candlelights. They imply diverse meanings and have thought-provoking, sharp criticism in the guise of being humorous.
